PLS Dictionary for Ivona Voices

This Pronunciation Lexicon Specification (PLS) dictionary is for use with Ivona voices or any TTS voice that supports a PLS dictionary. PLS is superior in many ways to the traditional Phoneme Dictionary offered by many TTS voices. PLS allows you many ways to specify the pronunciation of a word (x-sampa, IPA or alias). Since PLS is case-sensitive it allows you greater flexibility for your entries. You can also have non-standard dictionary entries like 日本語 (Japanese). The PLS provided below corrects for many of the mispronunciations encountered with Ivona voices and offers you a great way to learn the structure of PLS and build your own user-defined PLS dictionary.
