I have all voices from all vendors and seen it all. Except Nuance.
Without your dictionary - let me quote on Acapela specifically , I have seen practically from nextup TTA to the flagship product of from Acapela groups - Virtual speaker does not perform well without your dictionaries and pronunciation is very bad (respectfully) . Without your optimizations via dictionary that you created --- is like a body without soul - for any acapela US or UK voice Just an analogy. But a fact especially for Acapela from my observation.
So anyone who buys Acapela voice must get your dictionary. -
These are opinion only and not a conclusion , no way this should affect your decision on which voices you use or purchase - Just my opinion, better one find out him/herself , test it out. I cannot prove this as I repeat, opinion only.
